THE PURPOSE OF THE UBB–CORE CENTER
The mission of the North-West Regional Career Orientation Center for Researchers (UBB-CORE) is to promote science and research as widely as possible at the social level in the north-west region of Romania, to encourage young people to engage in research, and to provide established researchers with high-quality career orientation services.

- Assistance for foreign researchers to integrate into the scientific community and establish tax residence
- Academic career management activities for researchers (career development monitoring, personalized assistance, counseling)
- Romanian language courses for foreign researchers

- Interactive science café events with invited guests who have achieved remarkable scientific results, presenting their field of expertise
- Debate-style events with the participation of various local actors, focusing on concepts derived from research and their consequences for community life.
- Networking events to facilitate the integration of researchers from outside Romania into the community
- External training week
